Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered in a search form are handled by the third-party provider serving that result path. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Routine hosting logs can include an IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate for maintenance and usage patterns. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement when applicable.
How Information Is Used
The limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create personal visitor profiles.
External Services
Links may lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, or third-party search services. The destination provider’s privacy policy controls information submitted there, including through sponsored result services.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support vendors process the server-log information described above. Analytics or advertising partners may receive that automatic information. Disclosure otherwise occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because the service has no accounts, it holds no visitor password or profile for an account breach.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor has sent information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Requests
You may ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data that this service holds. The research did not identify a general statewide Ohio data-broker deletion statute that applies to every private directory. Because our retained information is limited, requests normally involve the contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page. Ohio public records remain under the original state, county, or local custodian, and correction or redaction requests belong with that office.
Policy Changes
Changes to this policy appear here. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
